Menus

Hi,

I am hoping to update the menu system on my site so that its more user friendly. I have been looking at some great dhtml menus, my only concern is that my rankings in google will drop.

If you go to my site (www.gopeds-online.co.uk) then you will see the menu at the top, i am hoping to change this into a good drop down menu system. (I know google can't follow these).

However if I put the javascript menu at the top of the page and my current menu at the bottom of the page, then surely google wont notice and difference and my rankings will stay the same as it will still follow the same menu??

To be honest, if you're talking about adding a menu that Google isn't going to follow, then I don't see how it can impact your rankings, Really, it's the IBL's that are going to help with the rankings most.
