Do you have a speculation about when Google will update?
  • Do you think there has been a backlinks update?
  • Do you think there has been a PR update?
  • Are you seeing Google fluctuations?
  • Do you think there has been an algorithm update?

In the Google+ hangout from Friday morning at the 28:45 mark into the video, John Mueller said Google is indeed working on supporting the latest version of Schema.org, specifically Schema.org v.3.1.

Google Testing AMP For Web Pages In Live Results

Something else for you all to work on:
Quote:
As you know, Google said they will be expanding AMP beyond news stories but also into all types of pages. But they did not give a timeline.

Recently some folks have been saying they've been seeing the AMP logo and AMP results in the main mobile Google search results, outside of the top news carousel.

Did Google Boosts HTTPS Ranking Signal?

Has anyone noticed this?
Quote:
Both RankRanger and Mozcast are showing a nice uptick in the number of HTTPS results in the top Google results....

...Google's Gary Illyes said no, they did not do an HTTPS update. So maybe some more sites in the top ten converted to HTTPS...
Did Google Boosts HTTPS Ranking Signal? Nope But More HTTPS Results In Top Ten.

This video is very helpful but I want know how I Rank our page quickly? If my website is in 10th number in First Page so how can I push this page in Top 5? I know that SEO is the biggest challenge.

The same confusion I am having. See, I am creating backlinks from a directory, social bookmarks, social media profiles, comments and partner websites. I have ranked 3 keywords out of 5. I am trying the same method for another 2 keywords but it is not useful. Still in 15th page.

This thread is for notification of Google updates and if anyone noticed any effects of the current update.

Please find a thread that discusses backlinks already (there are lots) and join the discussion there after you read all the replies in the thread.

I haven't noticed any change in rankings, however, a drop in click through from Google. Is anyone else witnessing the same?

New Google Local Pack Design Now Live

Quote:
A couple weeks ago we reported that Google was testing a new local pack design. Well, it seems like that design is now the new way forward for Google. Truth is, the design is a subtle change to what it was, so it seems pretty minor, but the colors are now bold and the layout is slightly different.

The most noticeable change is the links are now light blue from dark blue. The layout is a bit more fit and compact...

Panda Roll Outs Continue But Not All Take 10 Months To Cycle

Quote:
It has been some time since we mentioned anything related to Google Panda and John Mueller answered two questions on the topic in the last Google Hangout on Google+ from this past Friday morning.

Question One: It took 10 months for Google to launch the last Panda update (Sep 2014-July 2015). Can we say the slow rollout might take 10+ months?

Answer One: I wouldn't necessarily say that because it was like this in the past it will be like that in the future. So that's not something where I'd say there relationship in there...

...Question Two: Please say something about Panda, did it ever roll out new score since panda 4.2?

Answer Two: I don't know what what is referred to by Panda 4.2, so it's hard to say. But this is something that has been rolling out gradually and that that is updating over time as well. So that's not something where you would see any kind of a distinct jumps or are changes in in the way your website showing in the rankings. That's something that's kind of gradually flowing out over the search results. So less of something where you would see individual bounces or changes that you could kind of flag as Panda 4.3, 4.31 or whatever they would they would be counted as...
