Backlinks and changing to HTTPS

So im in the process of changing 25 domains from http to https, will set up 301 redirect so everything should be fine on that end. But what happend with the backlinks that points to http? Will they still have value even if http redirects to https?

Yeah the clickable part is fine, i ment if the backlinks pointing to http will have SEO value once my site is https, since http just redirets to another site, hmm

You could try contacting the owners of the sites that provide you with good backlinks and ask them to update the link. Generally, the more links that look exactly the same pointing to a page is better.

Yes But I guess he will get the benefit of backlinks created for http site as it is property of 301 redirection that the link juice will pass to the new page. What do you say?

You are using 301 redirect and the property of 301 is the link juice will pass to the new page where you redirect. Your backlinks are safe don't worry.

You can read this: 301 Redirects Rules Change: What You Need to Know for SEO but as noted in the article, there are complications...

Instead of relying on 301 redirects I still think it is a good plan to contact the website owners of the most valuable incoming links you have and request if they would be so kind as to update your url.

I don't think you have anything to worry... Google is way smarter than a htaccess rule... I think the switch will actually benefit your site

Since you are using 301 redirect so the backlinks that are pointing to http will also get redirected to https so don't worry with seo.

AS Per Google Search Enginer Head Engineer (matt cutts)
saying
Link juice passing to Landing Page (if redirects also there)
there is no issue with http to https converting
No Ranking Problem as per google said.
Try to Move one site after another sites (if experiencing bad so you can loose only one site)
because i tried this with my site, no problem with that.
