Changing keywords

If i change keywords of website this will have any disadvantage?

Why are you considering changing your keyword focus?

Are you talking about totally changing the theme or trying to improve your ranking?

It depends on the selection of your keywords. just do some research regarding competition and the volume of research.

Have you changed your whole website or you want to replace some keywords with the old one?

correct also use google adword keyword planner tool, it will help you to make a good re-search

I believe you can do some keyword research and update old pages/posts/articles to boost some pages, especially if nobody did a keywords research at the time these were written
