i need an advice

hello to everyone. I have a brand new site and i was wondering how can i promote it in Google or yahoo (how can i gain PR)? Also i wanted to ask about a tip i received yesterday from another webmaster. He mentioned something about a new type of link building software called rank1.info. He claims it will bring me hundreds of quality backlinks to any page I nominate. Has anyone heard of it, is it good, and will it help me in some way? I'm new to these things and i hope I'll get your advice.

Well if you really want to get good start in Google and Yahoo and you want to get a good PR then start building links, I have not heared of that software but will advice not to use any softwares and do everything manually, these softwares are not effective as they seem to be.

If you wanna have good start in Google you have to do all things yourself (without any software). And you can remember that this work is very hard.

These link exchange programs are usally pretty dodgy, i wouldn't bother with it!

Submit you site to free directory for one way links. Don't use any software.

I'm new to this as well, and have been pretty much asking the same question. Most of the answers I'm hearing is to leave the software alone. I've heard that the directories are good.

Directories are the way to go. If you want to trade with webmasters, make sure the site has some relevancy to yours, this will make the most out of the link exchange between your site and theirs. This should get you started off right!

Good content is requirement. Linkexchange is the most dificult step in SEO (also you will need some experience in SEO to get good results)

You do get links with classified ads, but most of the time they are not considered significant because anyone can get them and most classified sites become very spammy!

Don't use any software, just do it yourself. Buld up inbound links and a site map is good for making sure all pages of your site can get indexed.

2) Tweak them to lower the competition no in Google.
3) Write meta tag, alt tag, H1 taf, do directory submission.
4) Have some one way links (paid) of high quality PR.
5) have quality and unique content.
