Hi there,

I wouldn't submit to Google at all. If you build positive backlinks (preferably with a decent PR) you should be indexed within a day or two.

When I launch my websites I don't bother submitting, I just post in forums, buy good directory links, exchange links with similar content holders, and Google indexes it perfectly .

If you want to help Google simply add a sitemap to your website, and Google will crawl the rest of your website.

As for duplicate content, I simply have redirects on my other domains, e.g. www.kjcorporate.org redirects to www.kjcorporate.com . But Google takes longer to index the other websites...but with time, it all falls into place.

Don't worry about not appearing in Google straight away, concentrate on SEO and backlinks, and you should be a-OK.

Regards,
Kieran Taylor.

I'm only 15 and really inexperienced at marketing, this is my first time. Could you suggest other things I should be doing, as I'm having trouble getting any new films.

I have contacted several companies looking for sponsorship for a film competition but haven't got a reply so I guess they aren't interested. I think I need alot more users before they would even be interested.

I'm really stuck, I have asked users at a film forum to upload there film there but they just don't.
It is not so easy, you know... You have to make your site known. Just posting in forums like this, that are totally unrelated with your business, will not do the trick. Try related forums.

Start writing some articles and publish them in different article directories. Here you have a list of free directories:

* http://www.article-highway.com
* http://www.articlecity.com
* http://www.articleshaven.com
* http://www.articlehub.com
* http://www.articledepot.co.uk
* http://www.articlefinders.com
* http://www.articlealley.com
* http://www.article-emporium.com
* http://www.amazines.com
* http://www.articlesubmissions.com
* http://www.authorconnection.com
* http://www.articleworld.net
* http://www.buzzle.com
* http://www.bigarticles.com
* http://www.constant-content.com
* http://www.devwebpro.com
* http://www.echievements.com
* http://www.ezau.com
* http://www.ezinearticles.com
* http://www.family-content.com
* http://www.goarticles.com
* http://www.ideamarketers.com
* http://www.impactarticles.com
* http://www.linksnoop.com
* http://www.marketingnewz.com
* http://www.site-reference.com
* http://www.webpronews.com
* http://www.seopapers.com
* http://www.valuablecontent.com
* http://www.webpromotionguru.com
* http://www.workoninternet.com
* http://www.zinos.com

You'll have there an about the author box. Write a few words about yourself and include a live link. Then take the previous advices and get your articles bookmarked at digg and other social bookmarking sites.

There are a few free directories where you could submit your site. Here is a list of free and paid directories: http://www.seocompany.ca/directory/web-directories.html

I have already given you three links on my blog... You'll get indexed soon.

Don't give up...a few days is a short short time to get listed, some sites can take months.

it's pretty annoying, the domain that now redirects used to be listed and I didn't do anything at all, and my site is listed in msn and yahoo but not google

Technically the same way as with static websites... However, if your website adds new pages all the time, you will need to run a sitemap generator more often.

There is no need to submit to Google at all, simply build up backlinks.

Your page will rank better if you don't submit and let Google find you via another websites link. Sort of like you trust someone more that is vouched for by someone you know.
