It's the baby face avatar that frightens him off. It's like an invitation to marriage. It scares the hell out of some guys.
On a perfectly serious note there maybe some subconcious problem with the avatar. For the forum to work we really need to feel that we are talking to peers. With that avatar you don't have that feeling. Nobody talks serious SEO and marketing with a child

I, Brian Just a thought - For the major update to be labled Yorkshire don't you need to have other people in Yorkshire also saying they have seen changes inthe serps or with their sites - geographically!
I'm not hearing any reports that theres any activity in the serps happerning n Yorkshire at all..
usally theres a major reason as to why an update is named..
so did you just decide to name it Yorkshire becasue thats where you live?

The point of "Yorkshire" is that it's a metaphor - for the end of "Old Google" and the arrival of "New Google".
New Google began with Florida and Austin. My argument is that this process would logically affect all keywords eventully. And that would be "Yorkshire".
Btw - this current update is more things trying to catch up to austin. None of my post Austin pages are shoing PR, and backlinks are very out of date as well.
