Adverts not getting clicked.

Hey guys. I am not really familiour with AdSense but I do knwo that some people are makign a little bit of income from them so naturally I want to get in on this.

I have put adverts on my most active website (phpBB3 Styles) which gets a good load of traffic from google since it is first i nteh list for the search term (phpbb3 styles)

Currently they are placed on the left hand side of the articles/styles and modules section but have not been clicked once

So far Google has told me adverts have been shown 1,047 times in the paste 5 days (since I registered to AdSense) but still no clicks.

Please could you tell me why this would be.

Personally I would make them look more like your site. As they are, they scream "Im an ad"...
I would also put them on the homepage as well.

Its the same with my forums as well as adsense has said that my forums dont comply with adsense and the other ads dont go very well with the forums and people dont wanna click on ADS.
