For those who have not heard this somewhat entertaining story. Booble the adult search engine is being taken on by Google.

I like how they took the parody excuse but im not sure how it is a parody as much as a complete ripoff.

I actually think Booble makes a good case. It's not trade-mark infringement, and from the few Legal Studies classes I've taken I can recall several similar cases where "Parody" arguments were successful.

Why is Google getting itself all worked up into a tizzy over "booble.com"? You have to admit that it's funny, and so what if they make a few bucks on it. The ironic thing about it is that in an effort to "save their brand," Google has put itself in a position to have to basically make the case that they want the porn/adult business all to themselves. That's got to make potential investors real happy
