Check to see if the site gives them or not before you submit it.....

I am not too sure which ones are the most important. I assume they are both as important so if you cuold give me some advice for both that woul be great.

I just started getting any links hoping Google would see some. I still don't know exactly how. Yahoo scoops up my links quickly, nfi what Google does.

Go to: GOOGLE

If you wanted to check mine google links= link:http://www.rankland.com

any site you see.......this means you just gave a link to a site that submitted you.....

If the site looks like this....this is not from site.....

local and regional

Than WHO CARES why would i submit to this site if the only google links it get are from submission for him, and hes a pr. 9 WHOCARES you cant give me what everyone on any forum ask for is a link from google.

The key is look at a high % of google links from site.

This will tell you if you should submit or not........

* web directories
* http://contextual.v7n.com/
* article syndication
* press releases
* submit articles to social media sites
* start a blog

Yes, but im talking about web directories, and how to make your submission work for, and not against you....

So what your saying is popularity links are better than looking out for the people who are submitted in your site..... as far as google links are concerned?

He asked how to get links, not about directories in particular. Your answer was good, but I think OP wanted to know more than just that.

Build quality links and wait for the updates while doing link building.

Just make a site that is worthwhile for people to visit, and natural linking will occur, that's the BEST way for link building.
