Question about Google Pagerank

One of my websites pr3 for almost year and every update it still has pr3.
I got so far more than 2000 backlinks from different domain names.
I have 3 pr7 links (different sites without "nofollow")
More than 15 pr6 backlinks (different sites without "nofollow")
More than 30 pr5 backlinks -- // --
And hundereds pr1-pr4
Also, i build many deep backlinks for inner pages.
I have nice serps and Google send me at least 1 200 people a month.
What's wrong and why Google ignore my website 3 updates in a row?

Have you checked the number of outgoing links coming form those pages that point to yours?

Do all of these links use the same anchor text and description?

Are they all from the same types of site and from the same spot (like footer links?)

Are the links on different C class IP?

Besides that, I don't know what's up with google either. I had the exact same problem. Even with quality 50+ Pr5 and 10+ Pr6 and hundreds of Pr4 and such links, one of my sites stayed pr0 for 4 months..And, then it suddenly jumped to pr 6 (AFTER I had given up on that site and moved on). I have no clue what's going on with google.

My best bet is to say keep getting links and look for number of outgoing links on each page

All this links from different ips, i did a big job finding them one by one, some of them i found browsing net and submiting my site everywhere, some of them i got writing webmasters letters, some of them i bought etc... It wasn't one shot deal with one webmaster who sold me 50 pr7 fake backlinks.
It was 1 year work to promote a website.

It seems that you are unlucky. That is really a strange situation. If you can give us the url, may be we can comment better.

If you are satisfactory with your rank in and traffic from google, then why you want to worry about it? PageRank is just an indication from google, if you don't want to sell links, actually you can completely forget it.

Google dosent just car that you have backlinks. They want to make sure they are Relevant. Make sure when you get a backlink that the site is in your category. If you are a motocross site and you have a backlink from a blanket site, Google just shrugs it off.

Also, update your content, fresh content is like candy to Google, if they see you updating, they will be more likely to bring your PR up. Also, try adding more content, PR has alot to do with content. They want to see that you have a lot to offer. You have to earn a PR 4 with many, Many keystrokes.
