Will anybody care to share how page rank is being calculated by Google?

Yea, it's tough. I don't know how much of it will still stand up these days but it's a decent overview if you like your numbers.

The key thing to remember about Pagerank is that the algorithms are changing over time. If you get into the mode of trying to base your sites on how Pagerank works you'll find yourself 2nd guessing your own work. Best advice is to work hard at optimizing to high quality information and keywords that drives traffic to you.

I think it's difficult to know all parameters that influence PR.
