PR update, lost all ranking??

Hey everyone, just a quick question one of my sites recently got a PR increase from 0 to 4, now it seems all my top ranking keywords are gone in fact I can't rank with any search term.

Has anyone else every experienced this?

This was no huge website, but there was a lot of hard work put in to it, it's rather depressing to watch it sink overnight.

slight paranoia... it seems to have come back

and ranking even higher. Sure did give me quite the scare though.

It called "Google Dance" Just type this term in any search engine and you will find millions of articles.
Your site can dissapear with some keywords for couple hours up to 1 day and after it comming back on the same positions +-.
It happened for unique website or for whole www (once in a month). Results can jump like crazy.

I had almost the same problem, got PR update, but my website went to page 20 for the targetted keywords.

Page Rank has nothing to do with your ranking in SERPs. There must be another reason.

this happens to our site for a lot of times already

we gain ranking, lost it then gain it again

How you promote your site?

PR has very little to do with how sites show in the SERP's, which constantly change. Give it a littlw time, then check again. You can check on multiple data centers here: http://www.searchbliss.com/dance.asp

Cool tool. It explains a lot. When my site dropped, I got concerned. Now I see it only dropped in one database. I'm wondering if there is a way to combine your code with a keyword rank script that allows you to include a domain name.

most probably three months
