Does URL rereouting affect Page Rank

My website began as a Lycos free site last year (http://members.lycos.co.uk/....), but I registered a domain name (http://www.worldwarbush.com) and routed it to the site.

I have several backlinks coming in to the site via the the worldwarbush domain name. Recently, I registered a new domain name, http://www.sortapunidt.com, and my page rank has just vanished.

The backlinks for worldwarbush.com will still lead to my site, as will any future links for sortapundit.com. What I'd like to know is why my page rank has gone. Is it gone permanently, or just a result of the Google dance?

Thanks.
