After update: PR 3 index and several inner PR5 pages?
Why would my Index only be a PR of 3? Is it my linking structure on the front of the site? Outgoing links leaking page rank perhaps? If you click through some of my buttons in my main menu there are several PR5 and a PR4 area, but I don't have many (if any) backlinks going to those parts of the site? /bog

This problem solved on one of my site.
But still have it in my forum the member list have PR4 and the forum itself have PR 3 !!
Also I have some pages get PR5!

I had the same problem but it is solved now. I guess you will need to wait a little bit more to see the final PR.

It may be like the inner pages are getting more link backs then the index page ..

Posted this same thread over at DP and recieved an infraction because they say it was in the wrong category. Somehow I thought Google Pagerank should be discussed in the Google forum. Not to get off topic, but that place is out of control. I am glad I can have realistic discussions at v7n.

I recieved an infarction there from sometime becz similar thread, but they moved it to Review>SEO!

It seems that the moderator of Google forum needs to read the messages carefully. I had a similar issue. I asked a questions related to "Google SERP" and he moved my thread to another forum and give me infraction

Dont worry about the infractions. If you do correct things, those just disappear by time. For example, i got more than 10 infractions so far. Most of them were not correct but now i have one left which will disappear on february.

Me too, the home and index is still PR1 as before, but most inner pages got PR4 during last update. I just keep working on seo and wait for the next update.
