And while we're on the subject of improvements, is there a BBCode element for inline code (mono-spaced) that works like the bold and italic, rather than creting a block-level element like quote?
Also I was wondering how the posting of text works...
Does it simply store the BBCode and covert to HTML when it's viewed, or does it convert to HTML and store it like that, (and convert to BBCode to edit posts)?

it is a cursor: hand css property
as far as the inline bbcode... don't know... search
www.phpBBhacks.com or
www.phpBB.com if you find one that does what you are wanting give us the link and we can see what we can do.
as far as how the info is handled... I have no clue, I just design the look and apply mods...
www.phpBB.com would be where you would get questions answered about how phpBB works while posting text.
