google adwords
Hi there,
My name is krystal and i have a friend who was wondering if there was a cheaper alternative to using google adwords to get traffic for your business, i know it is a very effective way to advertise but not the only way, i do realize you can blog and write articles and purchase leads for exposure. However as far as the adwords i was not 100% sure. Would appreciate feedback if anyone has any info.
Thanks,
Krystal

Hi Krystal,
SEO is cheaper than AdWords or even other PPC campaign . Once you get top positions for several phrases, people will find you, will link to you if you're providing useful content/services/whatever. This way you will get what your site deserves... Popularity and visibility. PPC programs can't boost your rankings anyway.

The concept of "cheap" is relative... The key on PPC is to analyse the profitability of every keyword you bid for. As long as the Cost Per Adquisition for a keyword is low enough, that traffic is still cheap.

I must disagree. Let's talk in numbers. 100 000 visitors. how much would you pay for it if it's low-paid one? I can tell you that it's possible to bring such amount of traffic to a web site through quality SEO campaign in about 3-12 months depending on factors such as web site age, popularity, etc. 3 months seo could cost about $1000, maybe +-$500. Once you get such traffic you'll get hits even no further SEO is done.

I'm not saying that you shouldn't target the keywords through SEO... at all. I'm saying that you should do both as long as it's a profitable keyword, for several reasons. First, because if you are on top for both PPC and SEO your CTR improves as users see you as an authority. Second, because you atract different profile of users. Some users tend to click more on organic results and some on PPC.

Well, I think the answer is both. Ie, one of the most competitive keywords as is "loans" (155,000,000 results) on Google.co.uk, both PPC and SEO positions are coped by the same companies:
http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en...e+Search&meta=
For me, thatīs the answer.

SEO is the way to go, but some companies prefer every marketing technique possible, but I know people that have lots several thousands of dollras using adwords, and never gain the type of "exposure", they wanted, but I would say submitting articles, and building link would be the way to go, if your confused find you a seo team / company, or better yet consulter if you'd like to do it your self, you'd be much better to find a consulter, and do seo .
