need advice

Hi;

I have web site which is opened nearly 7 monhs ago . that web site was pr 4 before last pr update and it's pr 5 now.

Until today , google was sending nearly 5k visitors per day . G has stopped sending visitors suddenly . I have checked my index counts . there is no change on my index counts but i have dropped from my keywords .

Is the name of this sandbox effect or a punishment :confused:

Any suggest ?

I think this is an example of Google dancing. I am also facing this for the last couple of days on one of my sites. Hope this rectifies soon.

backlink sources for this web site are webmaster forums , dmoz an some directories .

I dont think that it's related with backlinks . i have search on webmaster forums . some many people are getting same problem with me. from 30k to 0 , 15k to zero . i believe somethink has changed on google side .

Yes thats quite scary, I have a competitve keyword thats getting about 100,000 queries per month, but its dancing up and down.

Check your serps to see where your keyword is, and check different google datacenter to see if its bouncing around on each one, now if it is, you need more google juice, so therefore I would submit to a lot of high end quality directories to stabilize this process because the algorithims are moving around from site to site, and its putting yours down for many reasons, but start from doing that check to see where that keyword was before, then move into it further, like go through all pages from 1 to 10 see if you find it in there somewhere, and if not keep on going, now lets say if you find it on page 20, okay then 2 days later its on page 17, then the next day its on page 7, its dancing.

so get more juice

Google dance appear every month and it happen now. Last time it was January 1-7. Also Google was dancing a little on January 20-25 during pagerank update and DC update.
By the way. Once i was really happy. My page with SONY affiliate links jumped on first page during Google dance with keywords "Sony laptop", "Sony Notebook", "Affordable Sony laptops". It was on front page just 2 days and i recieved a lot of uniques. Good thing was... it was august "back to school season" when bunch students was buying laptops. Also office clerks came back after vacation and decided to change their lifestyle and old laptops...

I lead about 15 laptop and bunch accessories sales in 2 days and got my 3% in October from CJ dot com. It was nice ammount. Later this page was not even in top 100 so i deleted it.
