Thumbs up Combination of Anchor Text and Domain Keyword

I show amazing combination of Anchor text and Keyword in domain that gave me 2nd position in google for a particular keyword.

I've a web directory called search-dir(dot)com

On most forum I've a Anchor text present called SEO friendly Search Directory.

So when typed in Google Seo Friendly Dir it gives me 2nd position. MY directory is only 3 months old. I've no keyword called SEO friendly Directory in my index page.

This is what I concluded and its not like a truth but pure assumption.

Google took 2 keyword from my anchor text (SEO Friendly) and 1 keyword from my domain. So I think this combination is deadly. Will surely try with other sites too. Also says how much importance google gives to Anchor text and Domain Keyword.

Regards

If for no other reason, keyword domain names are always good since people often simply use the website address as anchor text

I've heard from lot of people saying Google doesn't give importance to keyword in the domain. Example I've heard is see big guys lik Goole, Yahoo, MSN etc doesn't have any keyword.
But after so many years of SEO my personal opinion is Google does gives lot of importance to keyword in domain name specially with "-".

Google give LESS importance to keyword in the domain...
compare to yahoo.

because google need backlink with relevant text, to get the site listed top in SERP

thank for the research shown.

That’s right, it’s very important to include your keyword in your domain name, but I’m really sorry to inform you that your keyword is not important at all “Seo Friendly Dir” that’s why nobody cares about it

Professional webmaster cares about the keyword that people usually use.

Getting 1 page rank for some important keywords it’s sufficient to generate millions visitors monthly for you.

How huge is the traffic that “Seo Friendly Dir” keyword generates for you?

I hope my info was useful

You missed the point, its not about how much traffic the keyword is generating. The point is to see the combination fo anchor text and keyword in domain.

Dear rishimodi
I did not miss the point, you missid something very important that your page high ranked for this keyword because nobody cares about it not because the combination fo anchor text and keyword in domain.

including your keyword in your domain is one of the factors to improve your page ranking but it does not improve your ranking (1 over 1000 ) for important keywords.

Thank you

yup keyword rich domains, keyword rich titles = good rankings .

plus google values the keywords in your domain, and plus when you get listed in a directory typically thats your title is your domain name, so its a ++
