Duplicate Content

Would you say to avoid duplicate content at all costs? Even some duplicate content? I'm debating as to add an rss feed that would be relevent to one of my pages, however I'm sure it will be concidered duplicate content.. will that hurt rankings in itself?

Duplicated content is good in some cases. Make sure that you're copying really quality content first. I used it and copied from one site which allows it (niche). Later I found some people visiting my site through those articles and what's more, some articles got better ranking than original just because of better visibility and on-site SEO factors.

i think your site will marked as 'not original' content. as the originally taken from other source. you just republish, still you have some unique in that, still not fully as duplicate content... if you republish
