I changed design and my pagerank became 0

I just changed design from manhattanservice.com/index.html to www.manhattanservice/index.php i also did 301 redirect from index.html to index.php
After this changes my pagerank became 0

To save my pagerank i swithed to old design... now i am waiting to find what to do in this case?
What to do in this case?

For this reason and dupe content I never show the file name of my homepage becuase you do not need too. Simply link too "/".

It takes a many more months for sites PR to become updated than PR for a new site so you did not need to link back.

when you update it is considered as new site by google. and your php thing affects it (PR) ... 'coz dynamic link like php is not SE friendly unlike static link(html) ... url rewrite it first.... and add more quality links...

Weren't we talking about this in another thread and I told you that the change would affect your PR and your linking strategies? It will take now a long time till google will give you a new PR and you have to start linking campaigns that lead to the new pages. The redirects matter only for the pages which are still ranked in the SERPs - they are no warranty to keep a PR. Sure you've got a PR 0 because you have new URLs.

hi,
is your organic traffic dropped?
you still have your pr4. you can wait for next pr update.(toolbar is just guessing pr) but i suggest not to do that again to switch again to php.
why did you not post question here before switching it back again to html?
it was safe to use 301 but as i told you toolbar pr is just guessing pr for internal links( since you have 301 in your header and it was treated as new by google or toolbar). you need to wait until the next update to see your real pr.

ill suggest you to re-write your index.php to index.html instead.

Send a message via Yahoo to yorije
right as your index, html was changed to .php it was considered as new site. Therefore the PR was 0. Waiting for PR update is a good idea.
