PR3 to PR0 2 weeks after purchase!? Huh?

Any of you SEO experts have some solid ideas on why an article directory I bought 2 weeks ago had a PR 3 and now it's a 0? It was actually a PR4 several months ago.

I did make some changes to the categories, added a logo, added a link page. Other than that not much.

Was I scammed? It was $500 so not the end of my life, but it's sure takes the wind out of my sails. Wasn't having much fun rummaging through the artilces, editing them, and selecting a good one out of the 1.000's in the "bucket".

1) There was just a PR update which is the reason it went back to 0.

Whether you have back links or not I will be able to tell you once you put up the url.

I at least put a presentable logo on it, rearranged cats, sifted through a lot of articles, but it still ain't pretty. Maybe someone from google actually SAW THE SITE!!!

I am really confused. Yahoo says you have 847 back links
Google has 207 pages indexed.
You should have a decent PR.
I am stumped. I don't know.

I wouldn't worry about it though PR is not important. Concentrate on getting relevant back links.

the google PR this time was really bad, new sites about a few weeks old went from like PR0 to PR3-PR5 for no reason and sites worked on for months either stayed or dropped. I've seen people discuss this all over the net. I have a PR3 blog - i worked hard to make it PR5 - but the Inner pages with 0 backlinks have PR4 - dont know how that happened but google really messed around with something this time.

I'm also confused about my backlinks. All of my google backlinks are gone and because of that I don't get any PR update on my blog.
