Sandbox, means it's an aging filter especially for the new sites. Like Google sandbox,it evaluates new Web sites before they can attain their best possible rank in the Google search results.

There is absolutely nothing you can do to get around it but wait.So you don't have to delete or create a new one, instead, just continue to build quality backlinks and eventually your backlinks will be intergrated and your site will be able to get rank.

I'd add to that be patient, it could take around a year. Keep updating your website and don't give up!

OMG - did you say a year!! I have a relatively new site, 3 months or so, and have slowly been building back links. As of yet Google still shows my site as having no links (when using the links: option for the Google search) even though I know of at least 20.
I was hoping that they would become relevant within a couple of months, but a year is really depressing

It is depressing. I agree it takes between 6months and a year. Some of the less popular keywords ranked my site in a about 6 months, but the popular keywords took about a year. Though once a year is pasted it is easier to rank well for new keywords.

Good luck. I run an online advertising site. I have to drive traffic to my site, so that my members benefit. -.I simply have to pay for a good few months. Expensive. But hey thats business. Getting a good listing in Google is like getting a TV ad at little or no cost. So patience is worth it.

With my new site - I purchased my domain and set up a basic page months before I start working on it.

Well, that's the reality.. we just have to face the fact that if your site is in the sandbox, you have to wait for more than 6 mos. or even a year... but as I've said, just build quality backlinks, and sooner your site will be able to get a rank.

Even though you show nothing in google you show 6 in yahoo. 2 are from your site, 2 from this forum, and 2 from another. You are indexed in google however. Just build more quality backlinks with anchor text and keep working on what you are searching for in the serps. Google is a horrible place to check backlinks anyways imo~ I don't believe they ever show em all
