Http: AND Https:

The following occurs when I click on some of my listings in Google's database...

Google has several pages stored that link to " https:my site.... " etc

Why does this happen? How can I correct those links (stored by Google) that come up https: These pages are not meant to be 'secure'

If this has been covered before...I'd appreciate finding out those posts

Thanks

Use 301 redirect or meta redirect and don't forget to mention "this is a redirect. click here, please." in the content.

It might happen if anyone links to https URL on your site for instance.

Check my signature (chiller link) and open it in new window. Then simply put https instead of http or change variables and their values within the URL (their positions). You will see how it works. It's a meta redirect.
