thanks V7n - 1 site in-links now has PR2

Well thanks firstly to everyone who has indirectly helped in helping me and my sites.

After the latest google update I was happy to see all of my sites pick up a PR or two.

One site though has got me confused, www.chillfireltd.co.uk
The domain was procured via the microsoft office live freebie system.
(only bought to see how the setup worked, ease of use etc).

A few months on it has a PR of 2?
There are 2 links in google, both from my company www.chillfire.co.uk (PR3) site.
But in the real world there are links from both that site and my http://chillfire.blogspot.com (also PR2).
And thats it.
There is next to 0 traffic, next to no links in, a few links out and content has not changed since I launched it.

Normally I can see why PR is where it is at,

links + traffic + new (good) content = good PR (easy as that lol)

Any ideas from out there on how I have inadvertantly done this, not complaining but I would like to be able repeat th effect .lol

Pagerank has null to do with Traffic.
A page without any content; a blank page can have a higher pagerank then 0.

Congrats on you're pageranks though.

Thanks Jesse, so its all about page 'juice'? flowing on from one site to another.

So in theory a blank page with junk copy (lorem ipsum) could get a big PR if it has 1 link in from a PR9 for example?
But if that site also had a link in from a site with PR1, the pages' own PR would be less?

Has anyone done any tests like on this idea?

I think it's best to consult John or another Seo when going into Seo deeper.
