Talking How to know that Google Crawler visits our website

Hi, all i have a question can any one give answer of these two questions.

1) How can can i know that Google Visits our website?
2) How many times in a day Google Visits a particular website.

I think if you have an account on google webmaster tools you can see the report on how many times google crawl your site.

Janna122003 is correct. If you submit a sitemap, you will be able to see how often Google bot visits. Typically it is every 1 to 1.5 weeks, unless you constantly update, or have a blog pinging Technorati.

Install awstats and check your access logs. Most recent visitors in your cpanel usually is a good place to look also.

You can install this to see when did Google bot visits your site...

A good tool to know when was the last access of Google of your site...

If you have a properly formated site with a sitemap, and you have a blog, when you post to that blog, it will ping google..

there is a cool plugin for wordpress (is there any other blogging systems ) called WP-Users-Online that will allow you to actually see how quick google comes and crawls your site. typically when i post, I will see google at my site within 2 to 4 minutes..

Also, if you use CPanel hosting, your Awstats will have the last visit of google and the time..

I agree too with those above... You can also check the cache date of your site...Those are the time the google bot take a snapshot while crawling your site. This way, you know the time too of the bot's visit.
