"searches related to" on Google UK

This is new.
As I began to run some checks on Google UK this morning, I noticed a new feature. At the bottom of the page there is a selection of links called
"Searches related to whatever keyphrase you searched for"

Example:
Google UK search for football

I don't like it. Seems a bit like nannying or something. Or maybe I'm grumpy 'cos it's still early.
