Once you place a new site on the internet is there any estimate how long it take for Google to acknowledge it?

The answer is "it depends". It depends on a lot of things, but Google has to find your site via a link to it from some other site. If you have a bunch of links to your site this can happen very quickly. I've seen sites indexed by Google in three days.

If you don't have any links Google will never find it. Even if you submit it to Google they will drop it if there are no backlink or inbound links.

In any case all other things being equal your site will normally get indexed within 4 to 6 weeks. Just make sure there are other sites linking to it.

the only way I can find this site on google is to type in www.FK!USA.com

History

I added a new url with new content 3-4 weeks ago then a couple of week later shut down the physical host of the original site and redirected it to the new site. In the last week I have gotten no placement based on the same search words that worked in the original site and now I am getting no placement on the original url. I basically disappeared

Yesterday I reestablished Physical hosting on the original site Just the home page and redirected the buttons to the new site. I even backfilled all the all the links that google had previously found mostly PDF and with buttons on the pages redirecting them to the new site.


If you have not noticed I am Dumbing my way though this. I did better when I was not trying

i set www.oddballin.com up on the 7th, i was indexed on the 8th, search results on the 9th, and pr on the 16th
