Question Google PR Question
Lately i have checked my google page rank and google states that i have a low page rank. When i go to my site there is no PR on the google toolbar. so i delved a little deeper and found that google gave my cache page a PR 2 but not the actual website. why is this? will google ever give my site a PR?

PR - about each 3 months. But PR is not important. Minor changes to Google's algorightms are done probably each week.

Well I had/have the same question as the original post. From what I gathered is that Google updates every so often(weeks) and it can change as they continually update all the pages of the web. Good content and backlinks will get you there eventually. Just do the right things and don't take the chance of upsetting the great and powerful ozgorithm. Once you screw that up you will spend much more time trying to get back in the list. My site was circling the drain with a big, fat PR of 0 and now is slowly building. The higher the PR and relevance of sites linking in helps you that much more. Good luck!

I had 2 smilar websites one was PR3 one PR2 the PR2 site was there first, they both came in top 10 on specific keywords, than the PR3 site got downgraded to PR2 and was off the top 10 on the search....?

This is too soon to get a PageRank. Sometimes you could even wait 6 months before you see any changes. It all depends on the quality of the links that point to your site. That's what influences PR.
