What is average click through rate on google?

(1) What is average click through rate on google?

(2) How is that based? Is it based on page views? For example, does Google have a 10% click through rate? And if so, does that mean that on 10% of all page views, a user clicks on an advertisement?

(3) How much does google make on average per click through?

It is different per industry and how good quality the results are.

100 page impressions and 10 clicks = 10% CTR, again, it will depend on quality of results.

(3) How much does google make on average per click through?

Very industry dependant. Someone bidding on "adverse remortgages" will pay a heck of a lot more per click than someone bidding on "clothes for toy dolls"
one could be $10.00 and the other $0.10

We have had a site no 1 on google organic and ppc, and the paid listing got twice as much the traffic as the the no 1 organic listing.

likewise we have had the opposite results in a different industry.

There are far too many variables to be able to answer the question accurately.
