Question Any Advice On Google AdWords?

Neck deep in a fact-finding mission on Google AdWords, I continue to see "some love it, some hate it". Is there more positive than negative about using this as an advertising method?

It looks to me like one of the traps is jumping into bidding on words without having done any research first. I would love some feedback to clarify whether this is a way to go for advertising my Network Marketing business. I've read that it doesn't work very well for this type of business!?

I think social networking both offline and online could work better.

I think you will find here all the information you need, not only on Google AdWords, but on other PPC search engines too, some even cheaper but with better ROI.

All of it works great, rather its (smo) social media optimization, (seo) search engine optimization, Link building, and etc...

The thing is though think of it like this when your running a business if you can invest into a product using 10k per week, and profit 50k off it, or even double your profit, then its well worth it.

Same thing with adwords if you can put money into it, and make it back plus more then your heading int he right direction, but if this is not the result then you need to analyze your keywords, and go from there

VemmaMe,

Adwords can be daunting at first. You're right to research before you jump in.
The Adwords Learning Centre is a good place to start. http://www.google.com/adwords/learningcenter/

Just about any business can be advertised successfully using Adwords. Obviously, conversion will be based on how well you meet the needs of your customers vs how well your competition does the same.
