linking to pages with same content ?

I have category sections in my directory like this,

by default I set them as ordered by date of entry, but I also have the
same content ordered by County and also ordered by Town.

This effectively means I have 3 pages using similar content but set out
differently. Could this cause and dupe content problems and would I
be better of nofollowing the links to the other 2 pages?

Yes, this will trigger duplicate content filters placing pages in the supplemental index. Penalties etc happen if the majority of your content is duplicate (and found on other sites etc)

Thanks, nice link.
From what I read, I doubt it will really cause major problems, but the 2 other
versions will probably be filtered.
The only real problem will be if google thinks I am doing it to manipulate
their results.
Probably best to noindex them though just in case.

Yes, that way you have the control over which pages google sees, instead of them making their own choice.

Surely the new site that is the duplicate of the other will be put to supplemental index.... Change your content optimize it...

It isn't a new site.
It is other pages on the same site, but with the content set out in a
different order.
one page is sorted by date of entry, one page is sorted by town/city and
the other page is sorted by County/State.

Change it, it will be in supplemental index. Things like this may get you penalized.
