Rankings fluctuating every 4 days!

Hi All,

I have been list high for may keywords like "Wedding Videographers"
"Wedding Videos" and many other keywords like "Wedding Videographers
(area). For the past month I have been fluctuating between what I call
my normal position and page 2, 3, 4 and not at all. My indexing seems
to have increase to almost once a day, but this is weird.

As a result my traffic is fluctuating madly. And I have to keep
running and pausing my adwords campaign.

It seems that many of the websites in the results keep moving round,
but not settling for more than a few days.

Is this normal? I get a heart attack, then celebrate, then get a heart
attack...

Hi,

I think it is pretty common. I am sometimes on the first page for "links" and sometimes totally gone. Even intra-day. I think Google is constantly sampling and giving different sites higher rankings on a round-robin basis plus based upon what it is sampling. I think it is probably pretty fair. From a user's point of view, it gives users a chance to see a variety of sites that might fit the bill.

I believe that will be common, except to high company with huge budget and powerful SEO, so they can stay always on the first position.

Since the last Google update, things are different and more difficult to handle.

i`ve noticed this for my top seo web directory

but my bidding directory has stayed the same for the last month now

My website moves around alot too, from position 1 to 3 the next week, to number 5, back to 3, etc.. etc..

It is normal to search engine all you have to do is continue on getting quality links. Sometimes fluctuating is just temporary.

It happens due to google dance..Google updates hapen in different time in different data centers..

yes, it is due to Google Dance.... Google's continue updates of it's site....
It's very common nowadays.. Don't worry about just continue SEO...

The Google dance is normal and happens fairly regularly. But this is the first time I have seen this in over a year. The whole results are shifting. And the content at the top isn't better.
