Smile Google Killer Megaglobe.com Now in Beta Test Phase!!!

Yes My Fellow V7N Webmasters!!! It is now ON!!! Just click anywhere on the below screen-shot image and then, if you want to, you can start submitting all of your site URLs right away:

And below is a recent and very significant press release:

Press Release - Megaglobe Inc signs deal with PayPal

Quote:
Megaglobe.com http://www.megaglobe.com, a new search international engine to be launched soon, has tied up with PayPal to use a unique two-payment system for e-commerce transactions.

/24-7PressRelease/ - (NEW YORK, NY) - March 6, 2007 - Megaglobe.com, a new international search engine, has forged a unique e-commerce partnership with PayPal.

According to the innovative two-payment system, users can either pay with credit cards issued in 50 different currencies, or with a PayPal multi-currency option.

In addition to its powerful search formula, Megaglobe comes in as many as 45 different languages, and its advertisements and sponsored spots will be available in 50 currencies.

Mega globe also effectively protects advertisers from fraudulent click-throughs on sponsored spots. The patent-pending technology, called “Pay Per Valid Click,” has been developed exclusively for Megaglobe.

Megaglobe’s rates for sponsored results are lower than other major search engines and Megaglobe publishers will get a higher percentage of click-through profits than those using Google AdSense or Yahoo!

Megaglobe is a member of the prestigious Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB), which includes Google, Yahoo! and MSN in its roster.

Megaglobe will go into a beta testing phase soon. Journalists and professional webmasters can obtain beta testing codes by emailing press@megaglobe.com, and get a sneak preview of the revolution that will overwhelm the Internet.

And I also found this very, very interesting article from last year:

Megaglobe : The Google-killer cometh Added: (Sat Jan 14 2006)

Quote:
With an innovative new page rank method and a strategy to minimize click fraud for advertisers, Megaglobe.com is poised to shake up the the search engine industry.

The Google-slayer has arrived. Playing David to the Google Goliath, Megaglobe.com is poised to scale the peak of the search engine industry with new technological innovations.

“After having advertised extensively on major search engines, I have personally experienced the scale of click fraud that occurs,” says Naima Moore, CEO of Megaglobe. “Megaglobe was born out of that experience, to offer advertisers the best value for their money.”

Megaglobe (available at http://www.megaglobe.com) will be Google’s hottest competition in a long time, protecting its advertisers from fraudulent click-throughs on their sponsored spots. Experts have estimated that click fraud accounts for as much as 30 per cent of an online advertiser’s expense, and Megaglobe will offer a revolutionary 0 per cent click fraud rate for sponsored ads. Advertisers will be able to verify clicks by comparing Megaglobe’s online reporting with their own server logs. Megaglobe’s sponsored listings will also be cheaper than those available on Google, Overture and Miva.

Oh well, I guess it was fun for a while down in Mountain View. But, don't forget, the first of many, many historical and HUGE LAWSUITS against YouTube.com are coming soon to a monitor near you!

Stay tuned!

Tee Hee!!! Thank you David. Glad you got a GREAT JOYFUL! But, you're right on, and most likely, this new engine will probably be pretty good, but "pretty good" is just not good enough to slay the Giant G Machine. No way. But, for sure, I will keep watch on Megagblobe because it looks pretty darn good!

Cheers!

might as well sign up, you never know.... I am always keen to try new engines, even the bad ones can have the odd function that works well.
