Google search: text link ads.

When exactly did Google kick TLA out of the SERPs?

They used to rank for "text links" and all kinds of other keywords.

That will be a fairly heavy hit for them. I had a site hit with a similar penalty and Google traffic drop to zero pretty much over night. I fixed the problem and submitted a reinclusion request and it was back within a week but I would hazard a guess that TLA have been hit down to a paid links issue rather than something on site which will be much harder to fix.

Interesting times.

They appear to be back ranking on Google again now, after 12 months of penaltiesville. I know you don't like link droppers John etc. so I won't, but I think my post about it may be showing up near my avatar.

They could have been let back in because they are now offering other stuff like linkbait. Either that or Google have given up the fight.

Text-Link-Ads recover after google punishments. Domain listed back and they have good rankings again. We should say that Text-Link-Ads developers worked a lot to improve and make network more friendly.

Just so everyone knows, Text-Link-Ads.com disappeared from Google in less then 24 hours after I did the post. I have updated my bog.

Perhaps this is just a case of Google looking to stiffle competition that could pose a threat to its main revenue stream.

But text-link ads are hardly to accept web sites or blogs rather than adsense.
Adsense accepts whatever site which has good content,
and also adsense's account disable rate very high.

Adsense sent back huge amount of money to their advertisers, which generates through invalid clicks.

marketing guy... why did you get kicked off? i would hate to make the same mistake. also, if i am right in saying, you are very fortunate to be back on google so soon?
