Question about Google Adsense
I have a test site that i use to start testing adsense on and every page produces relevant ads except for one.
This specific page if im allowed to show the link its -
it's a simple post that just asks if the public thinks a former reality show star tiffany pollard should pose in Playboy and I put a poll on it.
Surprisingly i rank extremely well for this in google and get regular hits a day to this page. The only adsense that shows up is a hurricane relief add. there should be one under the banner, one in the post itself and one at top and bottom of the side bar.
I dont see any obscene language on the post or any other TOS violations so why does Google remove all the adds but that one?? Any clue??

Ok well I understood " * Pornography, adult, or mature content" to mean you can't display images or obscene content. Not just saying the name Playboy. Which is strange because for the longest time I did receive adsense ads on my page for Playboy merchandise and the magazine.
I guess google is extremely specific then so I'll remove that and see what happens.

Also then does it take into account the content only or everything such as comments also. Like if its a perfectly TOS clean post but the comments have flagged words in them should I edit those too?
Think i will just to be safe.

I checked out your page, and I couldn't or read anything that would scream "violation". Most likely what happened is that your word density of "naked", breast, boobs, etc.. overcame their filters threshold for potential mature content.
Cheers!

If it is merely a word that is causing the problem you could try
<!-- google_ad_section_start(weight=ignore) -->
Playboy
<!-- google_ad_section_end -->
Not sure if this is still a viable way to block words you dont want google to try and use as adsense.

I seriously doubt that something like "playboy" is against adwords TOS. Its all a matter of content, images, etc. not about 1 word.

How many mentions of these words were on the page? Just an estimate, only curious as the amount of times it was mentioned as this could be useful for later in the future

This is quite a thread! I have never thought that the simple word "playboy" may be against Google Adsense TOS. Thank you for all this quality information, it could save one's Adsense accounts in the future.

We are still not sure of what happened and if the Adsense is still there on the website that had this kind of problems. Looking forward to clearing this up
