How to make Google re-cache

So I understand Google-bot crawls your site and checks if the page has been modified since it has last been cached. If it hasn't then the date reflects the last time it was cached but if it has been then it takes the snapshot and re-caches it.
So my question is roughly how much content needs to be changed to make Google take notice?

Only on page, or HTML changes (cleaning up the code) or just a couple words or a certain percentage of content re-written etc...

No need to have a changing content to be re-cashed. G does that periodically automatically even without any changes.

That's correct. Google does crawls and cache your site periodically; but it depends on how frequent your content is being updated, such that cache may be periodically fresh.

Yes I think it's correct. All depends on how often we update our website regularly. And It could be all our words become keywords. I always track all the visitors to my website and I know some of them search my website with the words or clause I never imagined to be keywords.
