Can you live without Toolbar Pagerank?

Just wonders in many forums ,like in DP ,people concern soooooooo much about it's update.
So can you live without it?

Of course we can live without it, but the reality is it has become instrumental in some aspects of the online world. For example yesterday an advertiser contacted me about putting some links on my web site. He said because I was a page rank four that he would offer me so much money per link. I answered that I would wait until next month to see if I would be a page rank five so I could get more money.

I guess its not that easy to live without the PR toolbar in the present online scenario but yeah if the PR toolbar disappears somewhere at some point of time we shall also learn to live without it if you see that in practical terms.

We can still live without pagerank toolbar and there is a lot of seo tool that we can used in checking the page rank

When you are here in this business you need to have that thing for you to know the importance of one site.. But i believe we can still lived without that..

I guess it depends on if your site has a good PR.

If it does then you probably love the pr toolbar.

If not you probably cuss it and say it is use less.

I like it personally because if I see a site I like with a good PR I can see what they are doing to achieve it.

anyway thats my 2 cents.

Gotta have it so others know the value of my link. I don't want to have to look up every site to know it's pr. I look a lot for link trading/buying and it would extend my days even further without the tool bar.

I think Google does everything to stick people to its products and services, it seems to me people stop realizing how deep their relationships are with Google. I wouldn't say it's bad, but ... ???

PR is very important for webmasters, so we have to keep it in mind, but there are so many different tools to check it beside that Google toolbar. TMO

I can live without this one. It's only a thing that you base your site's PR. The most important to me is the traffic that coming-in.

i cant... when i visit a website i always take a look at what PR it has... just a habit I guess.

Yup. PR to me is highly overrated. It comes in handy only when you are trying to sell a site or links on a site.

I think if you have a great site and people support your site your PR will naturally go up.

No use stressing about it.

I think you are asking about PR toolbar but PR. In this case there are several other tools/plugins/addons/online tools available to check sites PR. So there is no question of living and dying! But I like google's PR toolbar because it's handy and works almost on every platform as well as browser.

Yeah there are many other tools available to check the pagerank of a website but I like google toolbar and here you don't need to open a different browser to check the PR.
