Is there something like a position checker for Google?

I wonder if there is something like a position checker for Google. I mean, if I want to know what the search position is of the keyword "school" in my site "www.schools.com", is there an easy way to check this, other than via Google itself, searching with the keyword and checking all sites on the result list.

I have a program put together with one of my programmers, it is a desktop program. I'm hoping to have a free version up this weekend for people to try. I had it made so I could check hundreds of keywords on several domains and make a report.

Digital point is very good, for checking keywords when you are past the 200th result try www.googlerankings.com which can search up to the 1000th result.

Great tip! Only one question. Do you know if there is also a possibility of searching in only one country (like searching in google.nl instead of google.com). I have looked into "advanced seacrh". There you can set the language, but that doesn't seem to work.

I don't think it's possible with Google Rankings, but you can with the digitalpoint one (under Edit Preferences).
