Using google for advertising?

Is anybody actually getting some good results from Google? It seems so difficult to get a high page ranking using Google, almost hopeless in fact; especially for those of us, namely me, who is just entering the arena of network marking and such.

If you take the time to truly study and actually implement what John Scott teaches in the following thread, I think you will be very pleased with your results.

This will be the ideal case, but unfortunately we need SEs to get more traffic.
