If you are still not indexed it won't be much of a change when you do get indexed. Links from other sites will naturally bring spiders to your site and improve your link popularity.

Even if you get indexed now through a link or two you still won't get any significant traffic.

Get some powerful links and the rest will follow.

What? Submit to Search Engines? Don't waste your time submitting your URL to search engines. The crawler-based search engines will find your site more quickly as soon as you get a link from another web site already being crawled. Search engine submission died a few years ago.....

Add your URL to your forum signature. Googlebot will then follow it...but indexing it? Well, a lot depends on that.

What do you all think about having an XML sitemap? Especially in regards to the links you place on the html sitemap and the xml sitemap?

Whats the difference?

interwebhunt is liked by many
Instead of getting one link on a PR 6 or 7 site, why not try and aim for a link on several PR 2 or 3 sites. You will most certainly get indexed, maybe not quite as fast as a higher ranked site but you will gain some traffic as well which in the end is the goal.

Get your pages listed in some good, famous and free directories. And your pages would get indexed on google. Or optionally you could go to www.google.com/webmastertools and submit your site map to get indexed..

I'm in the same boat as you. I'm working on submitting to web directories and blogs. Submitting to this forum is a good start in my opinion. Best wishes.

If you're having trouble getting indexed, I humbly suggest checking this article out...

A lot of people have used those techniques and had success with them.
