New to meta Tags?

Google has had a look at my site for the first time. I thought I had set all the mega tag up but the description google has set up is not my tag. Can any one help me. My site is http://www.iatelondon.com

Why did you think that Google would use the meta description? They only use that when nothing else is available. Otherwise they normally use the first info they find on the site and sometime they will grab the part of the content that includes the search term they are supplying pages for.

Anybody who told you that they use meta tags regularly doesn't know what they are talking about.
