Didn't work for me, every site I put it the tool reported "Unknown" for the current PR and "Insufficient backlinks" for the predicted.

My sites range from PR5 to PR7... So I think it is broke.

Don't rely on Pr Prediction tool...

Google PR algorithm is different than Prediction tool.... Just continue building quality links.. To achieve high PR and by the way focus not just on PR, focus on SERPs also...

Yep, I must agree, SERPs are vital... In my niche there is a PR4 site which always appears before me in the search engine results and yet my site has PR6! When I saw this I almost fell off my seat, but PR isn't the only factor in SERPs. In fact some say it isn't a factor at all.

Optimize for your keywords, build links and check your SERPs.

These sorts of tools are good but may lack accuracy. Most important factor for ranking high in SERPs - quality inbound links, good content and moderate level of on page optimization.

its not very accurate because I have over 300 back links listed, and I have at least 200 more that havent been included yet + i have quite a bit of PR4 and PR5 advertising that I have purchased which obviously isnt being included in this calculation, or they are just counting all links as 1 point regardless of PR.

This is likely the case, as no server in the world can count your backlinks, then run a PR check on every single one of them all in less than 3 seconds.

My yahoo backlinks according to yahoo
Inlinks 1 - 10 of about 219 - 0 sec




But im impresed, and that doesnt happen easily

Some tools are not accurate. Do not rely much on them although not all of them. Be wise, select the best tool.

This tool shows not good to my site. Maybe some tools are working properly and the others are just a waste.

I have checked our site using this tool and it is predicted PR0.
Page rank prediction tools doesn't give accurate result for the site and we better wait for Google update.

which even as per Google has over 100,000 links.

What to say of future PR, it says even current PR is unknown.

Actually you checked www.dmoz.org, "links: dmoz.org" gets you over one million in Google. Either way I get dmoz.org with insufficient links. The tool needs some work.

Hmmm i checked several of the links left above - i currently have problems with being indexed by google at the moment and after doing many checks for backlinks over the last few weeks i was told that i had no backlinks.

These tools both tell me that i have almost 300 backlinks - i am confused.

It seems to me that all the tools that you can check offer faulty and often very different results yet for some reason - probably because my website is falling off off Google's planet right now, i seem to be infatuated with trying to find out where my site stands.

Mine showed a rise in PR - how beautiful this would be but as things are going, i predict that i will loose my PR completely.
