Need some SE help

www.wiggyp.com used to rank very well in Google. Now, it's f-ed up. No where near the old results that I had. I didn't change anything to the files, I just added more pages. But what coulda happen? Is it from the whole Florida thing, do you guys think? Or what?

Help/suggestions would be appreciated!

Could be a number of reasons,

A high number of your backlinks may have removed your link or changed the anchor link text to your site.

Pr may have gone down on a number of your backlinks,

your competitors may have worked harder on there sites..

I wish I new the answer

If you had these ranking once before, then there is no reason why you can't achive theses ranking again.


If I was you, I would suggest rethinking your seo strategy, look at everything again -even going back to the the basics - continue working on your site as normal, tweaking your site like a bonsi tree - & your show up soon enough!

I just swapped more links when I reopened the site, and I got it to a PR6.... when I first opened it and was getting good traffic, good SE results, and making sales, I have no PR...

Kinda weird...

not that its a major deciding factor in you losing rankings, but did you swap links with a good number of on topic sites, with authoritative content - relating to your content?

By the way - whats the site in question?

Most of them are related to what my site is about. But that prob doesn't have anything to do with it as I started swapping links to get the site its good rankings back...

If you dont mind telling us-

What was your search terms (keyphrase & keywords) that you was ranking high for?

Also, I have noticed you have no mata tags at all on your index page containg any search terms in...

Yah, I have to add those

I was ranking pretty good for a lot: (just to name a few)

cheap templates
cheap web templates
flash intro templates
flash templates
cheap flash templates

Stuff of that sort...

Even if you never had any rankings issue today,

I would still suggest you incorporate those search terms mentioned above in with your very small amount of written copy on your main page add more writen content also on your home page!.. then add your meta tags, with your selected search terms included..

Hopefully, this is the start of you making headways into re-appering in the serps - I'm sure theres alot more SEO work to do though!

Oh! & you may find this tool helpfull in traking your google postion in the serps..
