It is much easier to rank for your targeted keywords if you have higher PR. It is also seen by many as a sign of credibility (Not that it is an accurate assumption).

I agree with JS, I like PR is seen as to much of a major thing. It really is not that important, the only reason I go for high PR is because it gets me more money in advertising.

At what point is pr good anuff to consider selling links? 5, 6, 7 ?

You can sell anything as long as someone is willing to buy

I wouldn't recommend selling links solely based on PR, as I have heard of people dropped from the listings because of this. I think it is against their TOC.

You never sell links. You sell advertising. And for advertising to work it must comprise a link, but you don't sell links.

Yes it's definetly made a difference to my advertising. As soon as the site went to a 7, the emails started to pour in for advertising positions throughout the site. Fascinating really...
