Free Position Checker for Google
Ok, I finally got things together. This is a desktop program and it is free, both versions.
http://www.sloogle.com
You can search up as many keywords as you want and as many domains in the pro version. And it does make a report. It searches the first 100 listings. I figured if your not in the first 100, you have some link building to do.
Please please let me know suggestions for improvements, because I will get them done
The basic version is really easy to use. The pro version lets you set up groups of domains and keywords. I don't have any help files for it yet. I will get there.

But how does your tool differ from the DigitalPoint Keyword Tracker tool?

Hey Tanya... I downloaded it and tried it this morning... I think I did it right, but yeah, help files would be good... hehe. It might be cool of it checked up to 1000 like digitalpoint's leyword tracker, though... I like it!

Does that free version check for listings under every url from the domain like what.com/what/what.html or just keywords for the main domain like what.com?

It checks for all listings on that domain. So what.com/what/what.html should show up as listed on page What as # What for What keyword

Hi.
I did not download, but anyway. Either you use Google API as I do an the tool needs the API key and is wastly innacurate (datacenters difference and slugish filtering by the API). Or this is some screen scrapping method. The later is exact, but there is a good chance that Google detects it and cut you out. I believe that Phil has some scrapper and make it to pause for randoms intervals, just not to be detected.
Just interested.
