Number of Pages dropping in Googles Index?
When I run the site:www.site.com query in google the number of indexed pages has dropped by 40% in the last week. What would cause that? Thanks.

usually its normal... happens to me too... and after a few days normal again...

I haven't seen this for the sites I am SEOing.

Try doing this without using the www

Hmmmm, other pages have been penalized? Just submit sitemap or just do deeplinking

Nope! None of the pages penalized. They are coming up in the SERPs. But not showing in webmasters tool. I had submitted sitemap, unchanged! Removed, same, with no change.
