Google Page Rank : Visitors or Links?
Hi Guys, this is probably a "really" stupid question and one that has most likely been addressed before. But what does Google base the page ranking system on, is it visitor related or links to your site that matters most? I've recently gone up to a 7, but am not sure how I got there Traffic has only slightly increased - but link backs into the site is already increasing steadily. So hence my question on what it's based on.

it is also based on the local pigeon population. If the server is located in north eastern cities it is more likely to recieve higher PR

I think the google bot is.

I keep trying to get google to crawl. www.narutoweb.net/forums

then I even search for that string location on other pages and google shows none.

www.narutoweb.net
is one of the sites that has that address listed.
There are a few others that have www.narutoweb.net/forums listed and are included in google's search results, but it still wont show that location anywhere within google search results.

sim, I looked at your forums, it seems as if you removed the session id's thats good, I would recomend doing this also

Sim,

If I was Google I would ignore anybody who used such an absolutely annoying avatar picture. I can't scroll past your messages fast enough. It is distracting and annoying to the Nth degree.

Just my personal opinion of course, but it is definitely not cool.
