Ok something has defiantly been going on in the last 2 months that devalue many of the points we believe in.
Even though Google seems to rank the majority of sites better unfortunaly some minority sites seem to do unfairly well due to a lot of “copy writing” or what I like to call “keyword spamming” is becoming increasingly popular and also subdomain and keyword urls with repetition content mainly the same on every page apart from the keyword.

The Z Review website beets better sites like the BBC and Empire sites that are huge in the UK due to keyword spamming. Even my movie site has a much higher PR on page and domain but I would never include the title more than 2 times on the page!
What I am saying is that Google has moved the goal posts. Many of my sites have lots of inbound links but only on a few domains and these too have rightly suffered very badly. And so I believe its not the number of inbound urls it’s the number of domains that link to you.
