What is considered to be an average eCPM with adsense?

Hey can somebody tell me that what is considered to be an average eCPM with adsense........I know that different niches have different payouts...but what is it most of the adsense publishers think that is an avg payout :

$5 eCPM
$10 eCPM
$15 eCPM
$20 eCPM
$25 eCPM
$30 eCPM
$35 eCPM
$40 eCPM

Please note I m not asking anybody to post what are they earning ( Violation of G TOS )......I just wanna get an idea thats it.

again depeds upon your keyword and number of clicks..

Collating all forms of revenue most sites average around $7 eCPM.

Specifically with Adsense it varies HUGELY depending on:
- your placement.
- your optimization (colors etc.)
- your niche
- the keywords on your page
- your traffic source

With traffic that comes from search engines on a site that has good high profile placement and is well optimized you should be looking for an average of $3-$7.

For a sites in higher paying niches (e.g business to business, VoIP, high cost consumer products), then adsense eCPM can exceed $10 eCPM - but there is usually less traffic around.

Be aware though that your Adsense earnings will just vary hugely all the time varying by as much as 100% day to day, month to month. Across the board my lowest site had an approx adsense $0.05 eCPM (article directory) and my highest had $80 eCPM (low traffic biz to biz niche). Average was $7.

Thanks for the info Lixhunter.com...as u mentioned that keywords also play a vital role in eCPM....how do we find the keywords which are higher CPC?
